Ylod, i need a new console, the cheapest one. I see that that now the lower version is the 120gb one, and i want to know if there's the possibility to know without opening it, the firmware version, so i can buy without problem a new one ready for the 3.55 cfw. Is there a serial number on the box so i can recognize the older consoles?

Didn`t think you could get brand new 120s now. Thought they were 160.

Not seen any stock 3.56 yet if thats what u worried about...

By the way i'm in Europe, on other forums i red about 3.56 native ps3, but I dunno if are just bullshit. Think i'm gonna risk

not sure how returns work in your part of europe, but in the unlikely event you get a stock 3.56, you should be able to return it and pick up another console.
