FW 3.41 Question

I have a Phat PS3, and I am looking forward to change the HDD to a 500Gb one. However, I happen to have the old 3.41 version. Back when the other version was avaivable for download, it would not allow me to.

Will I have problems changing the HDD? Just as the old version seems to do? And if so, what can I do to prevent it?

Thanks, I've seen it before and downloaded the newer 3.41 version.

My problem is that the PS3 does not finds the upgrade from my Memstick X:>PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP

When the update was still downloadable from the Internet, I tried to download it, but it gave me an error mentioning that I had that FW already.

I haven't updated my PS3 since July 30th, so I know that it does has the old one that causes switching HDD problems.
