There's no any option to force game "install" on hdd. This is not easy as You think. This cannot be done without code modifications. ;]
For Uncharted 1 and 2?
The two games known for using streaming as a loading mechanism in order to not have any loading time at all when story is entered...

Then what's the cause of uncharted 2 freezing a couple of times? I'm talking in-game in a couple of instances the game froze and i had to reset. Thankfully though the game saves often by itself and i didnt lose any progress.
The disc is brand new and so is my ps3, so this isnt hardware realted.
Uncharted 1 was fine though. I finished it without having any freezes or stuck ups.
It is common problem with "uncharted 2", it freezes alot of many systems, and sometimes the audio vs. video get out of sync during the movie scenes.Quote:

If you do a "google" search on the 'net, you will see tons and tons of people complaining about the freezing problems with this game. :rant:
I have Uncharted 2 platinum, it hung on me once during the 22 hrs I spent getting the trophy.
Either you have a bad print disc or your PS3 is acting weird.
Well accordinf to the one post above you it is a common problem so you wee lucky it only froze once!
Anyway, i finished the game and it only froze a couple of times so no biggie!
