Hi, sorry to be my first post here but I've search in these forums and googling and didn't find much of a solution and I'm here to ask if there is any. First I'll state what's going on, what I did that might of caused it, what I've tried already. Thanks in advance.

    First, the symptoms are:

Red Light, press power, green light briefly, fan wants to start but all halts without led or green light, only the buttons lighted and they go off in about 3 seconds at the most.

So basicly I can't start machine at all.

What I did that might of caused it:

First of all the PS3 was working fine so after verifying everything meets for downgrade I pop it open and I clean it with an air duster since it was quite dirty inside, than I take it apart, etc and solder my ProgSkeet v1.1 Crystal Blue, I made sure there were no shorts ( or at least I was sure at that moment ), so after being done with this JSD-001 Samsung K8P27 I put back the power supply and bam... the issue, so I couldn't go any further, there was no read or write to the NOR at all... but I do suspect a short of some sort.

I did remove all the wires, one by one and none showed shortage at all and all were in their matching solder points to the programmer ( This is the 4th PS3 I open, the other 3 were successfull downgrades without issues)

What I've tried already to fix it:

According to some information found here and other places, this symptom related similarity to the YLOD so I went ahead and did the reflow and didn't help. I did a very peeky search of cold solder joints or lifted pads, etc and nothing. I did not find anything visual that would lead me to the issue.

I also tried using a different PSU and same results.

I seriously have no idea what to do or where to go... I don't want to have this brick here so I ask for your help. If anyone knows of a fix like replacing a component or something, I will greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks a lot.

EDIT: OK I assembled it back... everything where it belongs and now it's working properly.... does anyone know if this particular model fail without bluray drive attached maybe???
