I downloaded the OFW 3.55 and confirmed the proper MD5 hash on the USB key and updated, but after installing and rebooting it says that my hard drive is corrupted and the file system needs to be restored. I tried running the update again, same problem. I'm going to try using a different hard drive temporarily to see if i can get it working again as suggested in another thread, but does anyone else have any ideas how i can fix it without having to format and lose everything on it?

    Try a rebuild via recovery.
