Ext HDD won't show on xmb after Booting Game
Ext HDD won't show on xmb after Booting Game –
08-29-2012,01:56 AM
I just noticed a strange problem with my ps3 not displaying one of my ext hdd's on the xmb after booting games from multiman which run externally with ext game data (which was not happening until just recently).
I have 2 FAT32 ext hdds hooked up to my ps3. The one that I am running the game from externally with ext game data no longer shows up after I boot the game from Multiman while the other one will.
Even when I switch back to HDD Mode with game data tool my hdd will not appear on the xmb. The game will run fine and my xmb will display BOTH hdds again but only after I either restart the ps3 or boot multiman up an return to xmb.
This was not happening to me until recently. I haven't made any changes to my ps3 or ext hdd other than filling up my FAT32 2TB SEAGATE ext HDD to the point where I only have 23GB Free Space left.
If anyone has I any ideas or suggestions, I would very much appreciate the input.
EDIT: 99.9% of my games ran without the Need of BD Mirror. These new games that require BD Mirror is what's causing it. By using BD Reset I get my HDD to show on xmb again. It's not happening when booting a game that doesn't use BD Mirror. Mod Please delete this post.
