are you using cfw or ofw for your ps3 with (BT problems)?
you still have this motherboard? i would be more than glad to see if i could fix it. pm me if you still got it.
I recieved 2 PS3's from a local gaming store who said they couldn't fix this issue, so they sold them to me for $15 each for parts. I have a couple of PS3 on hand so I can check and see if hardware is the issue, and after swapping out everything else, the only think I had left was the Wi-Fi board. I swapped out a known working Wi-Fi board on both consoles, and the problem went away. To make sure it wasn't a fluke, I reinstalled the old Wi-Fi board and the same error came back. I replace the Wi-Fi board again, and the error dissapeared.
Hope this helps!
The BT module is part of the WIFI board, FYI.
Also, I don't have equipment to replace a slim wifi module (same module/chip does both WIFI and BT on slims) so I instead cut off a part of a dead slim motherboard and transplanted it to a working slim which had this 8002F1F9 error. After a factory update with lv2diag.self (with a non BT patched CFW) it started working again.
I just removed the bad module (without worrying about damaging it) and connected a square section of the other console board to this console's board with wires. Ugly but perfectly functional.
