is the the e3 flasher a lie?

ok so im stuck on 3.70 and ive been wanting to get E3 flasher. since they stated its solderless for slims but haveing a look at the installation manual there soldering a slim so are they lieing just to get you to buy this ?. because what ive found it looks like that. im not stateing it dosent work im just saying they lied about slims not needing solder the installation manual can be found on there website

I've known it needed soldering on the slim since like two annoucement ago, it seem that not everybody likes to read the information that's right in front of them, then again I'm waiting for the to have a completely solder-less solution

will they be adding a solderless option its not bad thing being stuck on 3.70 but as i cant solder well it was the perfect solution so i can play my ps2 games again

4: At present, on NAND flash console, you need to solder plus wires also. And no dual boot function because no 256M NAND FLASH ON E3 FLASHER.
* On NOR flash FAT console, you need to solder plus wires also, and includes dual boot function.
* On Slim console, there is no wires, but you still need solder some points. It is easy can be done in 3min.

5: We will release 2 new version E3 FLASHER at the end of this month.
* One is 256M NAND flash on board and with CLIP, to get dual boot and no solder function.
* Another is same as present E3 FLASHER but with CLIP, so all NOR flash console no need any solder at that time. (sure cost will higher)

Yeah soldering is required.
The site wasn't in good english and everyone kept supporting the idea that no soldering was required.

They're releasing a solderless version later on due to popular demand of a solderless solution. End of the month they said.

yes as it says in the post above yours, i'm thinking the 256MB won't require a HDD swap for dual boot seeing as no format is required for those models

Correct, but there might be other issues if you don't use HDD swap, for example Sony being able to detect homebrew etc maybe.

yeah you might be right, I just didn't want to go to straight external (reason for me not adding 1TB internal) but then they'll probably gonna use the HDD bay for the board as the did in this one, I'm hoping they include a Wanky brick fix as that's the PS3 I want to use it on

Where did you read this? I keep reading the Limited Edition (non-solderless) will be shipped the 23rd of this month and the solderless circa the end of the month.
