hi got a psx3 the other day for my son its a 4.25 all i need is someone to tell me what is the best dongle to use what is maltiman use for and what about the master key from the three musketers and how good is cobra or true blue i got a lot of ps1 games and ps2 games that i will like my son to play i have read up abut most of these dongle i dont now which is the best thing to do its been so meny years is i did any of his i used to chip the psx1 had a ps2 not chiped if anybody can help me it will be well appreciated

You need a e3 flasher or progskeet to downgrade to 3.55 firmware first. If you just bought it then I doubt you will even be able to downgrade. The PS3 can onlybe downgraded down to the firmware that came with the system. This may not be true still. Read here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/content/...required-2714/
