Does this sound like a broken logic board?

Hi All

I recently bought a old CECH-2002A PS3 off ebay which did not read discs and makes 2 scratch noises followed by an ejecting sound which is exactly the same as the one shown in the youtube video. I have tried changing the laser mechanism to a brand new one that i got off a trusted seller on ebay but it still has the same problem.

What i originally though was that there was something wrong with the logic board but i want to get the community's opinion on whether or not it actually is a problem with it

Before i replaced the laser i was able to put the console into Factory Service Mode and even though the laser is still not working i am able to boot homebrew
applications such as Multiman and Condor Updater etc etc



Please help
