    I do have a list of demo codes if anyone needs them.
    To unlock your Demo PS3 go to Security Settings. While highlighted, press L1+R1+Select+Square and it will ask you for a 4-digit code.

    Then enter the appropriate 4-digit code from below and your PS3 will now be unlocked!

    Demo Unlock Codes:

    1.5x = 5202
    1.6x = 7568
    1.7x = 0506
    1.8x = 7712 or 7259
    1.9x = 2737
    2.01 = 0219
    2.10 = 2464
    2.20 = 4801
    2.30 = 6558
    2.41 = 9015
    2.42 = 9015
    2.50 = 6258
    2.60 = 8783
    2.70 = 7164
    2.80 = 7897
    3.00 = 2310
    3.01 = 2310
    3.10 = 5081

    v3.21 code: 7818

    Is there any way to perm disable demo mode it pop's up each time the ps3 is restarted.

    Nope, you always have to enter the code if you wish to fully play around with the console. -- Plus of course find out the new code once the firmware updates to a later version like v3.30, etc. -- Also I see alot of the machines get blocked from playing online. -- Other then that, they work just like normal PS3 systems, of course after you enter the right code.

    Thanks for the info, I was hoping there was a way to update the firmware to that of a consumer model.
