Dead Playstation 3......

Buddy of mine says he has a 3 year old playstation 3 he used for netflix. he believe he left it on during the day when he left. On return it turns out the ps3 will not power on. No HDD click, No Lights, No Power.. He's attempting to sell it to me for 75 dollars.

75 Dollars Include....
The 80GB HDD
The Console Itself
and One Controller.



Should i jump on this deal? and what could the possible problem be? Mother board, Power Supply? Im not sure if this is a good opportunity or if i should just buy a brand new refurbished one with no fault history.

That what move and mods are for!

But no matter thus user PM me right away when he noticed he was in the wrong section!

One thing I could do is make all new threads that get started in the tech. Section only be placed into a basket waiting for a mod to approve them first!

Also I think it is time for me to open a new forum for these types of discussion all the repair stuff, ylod, bricks, hdd errors, laser problems, USB ports etc etc like we have the ps2 just repairs FAQ tips and stuff like that!

Anyhow now I getting this thread off-topic soni going back to my corner and to think, carry on everyone!
