My save game for Lego Jones 2 is not there anymore when I turn on the game and select "Load Game".

I looked in the PS3 Game Save Utility and saw there was a Lego Jones 2 save file. When I sorted the files into groups by pressing the square button, the folder for the Lego Jones 2 file was called Lego Harry Potter. So the Lego Harry Potter folder had a Lego Jones 2 file inside it.

I looked in the ...\home\00000001\savedata\ and found that my saved game for Lego Jones 2 was in a folder called TEST99999000. I figured this out by first copying the Save file to a thumb drive and then deleting it off the PS3 and found out that was the folder missing after deleting it.

So I started Lego Jones 2 and selected new game. It created a new save and I figured out that it was stored it in the folder called BLES80608000. Figured this out by comparing the directory before and after.

Next I thought I would copy the data in the TEST99999000 folder into the BLES80608000 folder. I really thought this was going to work. It didn't.

I am trying to get the saved data in the TEST99999000 folder recognized by the game so I can load the saved game?

Hopefully I was able to accurately describe the problem I am trying to solve and if you were able to follow along, please provide any ideas how I can get the saved game to work. Thanks.

I did try using the new param.sfo and param.pfd with the old savedata.dat.

I'll try using just the new param.sfo with the old .pdf and .dat.

Neither combination worked. The save game still showed up in the save utility but didn't show up when I tried to load the game.

I thought it was strange when I originally grouped the saved games in the utility by pressing square, it put the Lego Jones 2 file into a Lego Harry Potter folder. I was thinking something got changed and if it were possible to edit one of the three files to rename something?

Have you used ps3sfo edit to compare the 2 parm.sfo and see what the difference is? Maybe the name got changed to Harry Potter in the old one somehow....?
