I dont want to get banned so is there a way to have my PS3 connect to my PC so i can still stream movies and such, but have it so the PS3 has no internet so Sony cant detect it? thanks

Pretty sure i got it.
Went into internet connection settings and changed both DNS to bogus DNS. Wont be able to connect to internet/ PSN but will be able to get on your media servers.
I believe sony has no way to see my console anymore.
Depending on your router, you should be able to set up the ps3's mac address to have zero internet access, but maintain local network access. It's what I currently have setup on my tomato firmware'd wrt54gl.
