I don't see much reason in making a 3.6* CFW anyway, and 3.61 was only just released so I don't hold much faith.

Meh, I care about the keys, not new cfw. New CFW just seems like pandering to people who want to play online, which leads to online cheating, and ruins the fun for everyone else. It's not like there's any awesome new features to obsess about. What's wrong with just having eboots re-encrypted from 3.60+ to 3.55/3.41? Besides, don't the memory addresses for patching change in new firmware? So everything would have to be redone to get backups working?
On the other hand, new firmware without back up support would be funnier than hell. Imagine the gripe fest lol
