Damn, I must be psychic. I was thinking about this the other week after a bong. I better pull out the tin hat my brain must be transmitting back to Sony HQ lol.
Seriously though its about time Sony did something like this, I remember how much fun I used to have going down the road with my memory card (remember those? lol) to a mates house and ripping him up with my cars on the origiinal Gran Turismo. Hopefully the games will be able to implement 2 profiles at once for 2 player vs games. Id love to throw my customized players/cars against my friends doomed counterparts. There aint nothing better than kicking your mates butt and talking smack to them in the same room.
Probably won't be out till march or something, and it'll be saved to PSN.
On a related note, I hope someone hack a save file to upload virus onto PSN and black the fuk out of it.
