Cech 2501a Downgrade Help

Hello, my ps3 came with v3.55 but I had to upgrade it to the latest version (4.11) when it stops playing disc, with the that it will help solve the problem. Now I just heard about downgrading and jailnbreaking, please can someone tell what to do?

you need to buy either a E3 flasher or progskeet.

I don't know how to get any of those. I was thinking since it came with v3.55 from factory Isn't there any option of software downgrade or a restore method without the use of any hardware?
