Cannot delete specific folder

Hi guys, I uploaded GT5 to my PS3 hard-drive and it ran out of space half way through and I get an annoying message saying I have less than 500MB free. I'm trying to delete the folder but it won't let me, it just stays there - I can't browse it either, it's just empty. I've tried via FTP and the file manager but nada. I ran the permissions fix and that didn't help either.

Any ideas anyone?

I've just free'd up 2-3GB yet it still reports as 0KB free :-(
