call of duty black ops

Hey guys i need some help... i was able to backup my copy of call of duty black ops to me external hd since every time i tried to launch the retail disk it gave me the i need to update to 3.5 error.. well i installed the latest payload with the psn patch and was able to get online and play an online game of nazi zombies.. but i am unable to connect to any multiplayer games... i have done all the fixes and file swaps to get multiplayer working and i am able to play combat training but not any online games.. i try core team deathmatch and after a while it goes to the black loading screen but then comes back to the lobby and tells me " no sessions are available.. retry your search.. etc" when i try free for all it just keeps searching for a game and never finds any.. i can play modern warfare 2 online games and ea mma online games perfectly but i have yet to be able to connect to any black ops multiplayer games... anyone else have this problem and can help me out or at least lead me in the right direction... thanx alot in advance..

it nots u or ur ps3 or ur game, its just black ops server, it sucks and a lot of people are having issues connecting, so its just luck when u connect, me personally have had no issues connecting

ya ive heard that from some people... but when i play at my friends place he has no issues other than a couple of lost games on his updated ps3 off a real disk... im just trying to eliminate all possiblity that i have done something wrong.. if its beyond my control then ill just shut up about it and stop wasting peoples time

I can play regular multi-player (team death match,free for all,etc) but when i get an invite to play in zombie mode with one of my friends i always get the session not available. I did get it to work once with somebody else that was testing zombies from irc. : / I tried it every time after this and it just goes to the error cut scene

thanks for the feedback guys but i was able to fix it... it was a backup problem ..i just deleted the update data and it worked... thanx again for everyone contributing to this great site...
