Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Server is not Available

Ok so apparently this problem is affecting loads of people with both CFW/OFW.

1. Is there any legit proof that this is a ban?
2. Has anyone happened upon a fix for the issue?

I got the game opening night and plaed fine online on my OFW PS3. Next night I tried playing it on my CFW machine and all was fine. Took my CFW PS3 to a friends house and joined a lobby but was kicked and since have gotten the server is not available error on both my PS3s even creating separate accounts. Leave your input on the issue. If this problem is on the server side of Treyarch/Activision, then I will boycott these fools and refuse to ever buy another Call of Duty product. Three days without an answer is just absurd. Now, I know alot of you will say "you got online with CFW thats your problem" well I call bs on that. All my other games work online MW3 included. I really dont care for the anti piracy talk so dont bother. This is a legit disk I bought opening night that will not connect to BO2 servers even on an OFW machine and alternate account.

You gave the answer to yourself.
Cause it happens to both, cfw and ofw users, this is a server based problem by sony/activision.
The service is just not available. How could you think of a acc ban if you can still be online? if ur acc gets banned, u will not be able to go online with that accoutn anymore.

Yea looks like I worded that funny. I too am thinkin this is a flub on the part of Treyarch and its very frustrating. I guess I meant its not them banning our account from their servers is it?, since I know im not banned from psn.

i made new user and acct. the number did change 20.134.18 got to lobby 12 player the whole time(max) and never connected changed to main acct and the number changed back to 20.0.-1

but yes there are hundreds and hundreds of people complaining about this.
NOTE: I am using retail disk

wonder if they are kicking themselves in the arss for this whole "CFW" thing.
also wondering if this is a server block, whats next acct ban coming?
btw i bypassed the retinal scan lol

note i am using 4.30 cfw and a retail disk. used ps3ninja and wiped history when i had used homebrew.

Wouldnt surprise me at all if the problem were that their servers are simply overloaded. You would think that a multi million dollar company would take extra precautions and prepare properly for this kind of thing. Guess theyre too busy burning extra money...

Ye, thought that for a while until the fake acct. I made to play also is getting server error with the same 20-1just number in the corner. What number do you get?

Yep. I am just waiting for a email or however they do saying my psn acct and console is banned. Read that treyarch would follow up with console manufacturers if piracy(maybe cfw?)All was detected.

was bored of the game in single player but found a nice little eboot to help out with that, HP no reload inf ammo ect ect. makes it a little funner
