Black Ops bans

I was just wondering who used the DNS bypass to play online with 3.55 and got banned from Black Ops?

I didn't get banned personally (because I haven't been online yet), just wanted to get some input.

it doesnt give a reason, how do you know its from playing a bu? not for talking so much shit? or cheating? or any other reasons?

Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings > OK > Custom > You Choose > Manual Settings > Auto > Auto > Do Not Set > Manual > Primary DNS = 67.202.81.137 Secondary DNS = 67.202.81.137 > Automatic > Do Not Use > Enable > X

Basically it would appear that Sony can do selective type of banning, where they can ban you from specific game servers (probably hosted by the 3rd party publishers) as PSN is the middle man to get to these game servers.

What this could mean is that CFW could be allowed, but will ban you on the basis of what games you play online, while retaining access to other PSN stuff. Mainly the store for you to go spend money on Sony.

The guy at the private tracker mentioned he still can connect to PSN and buy stuff from the store. He was at geo 3.55 before and updated to the latest one. Also he stated he did not do any mods or cheats while in BlackOps.
