    Hi,

I have created a virtual proxy using Virtualbox.
The proxy prevents to call home: D

If the Playsi tries to connect to Sony the proxy block this connection. The PS3 also makes multiple connections to Sony, even though you are not logged in PSN.

With this proxy you can use the Internet, or psxstore.com to download updates, demos, EMU without getting banned.

    What you need to:
    Virtualbox: Downloads - VirtualBox

    Bansquid VM:http://rapidshare.com/files/44941302...id_v0.1big.rar
    (Debian Linux 6.0)

    How to:
    Install Virtualbox -> Import Appliance.
Start Bansquid and log in with user: root password: ps3

Look with the command ifconfig the DHCP assigned IP address. Then enter this IP as a proxy in the PS3. Port: 3128

With the command: tail-f /var/log/squid/access.log can follow their current operation.

All outgoing connections to playstation.net blocked from now on.

This proxy is for all peolple that have no way to block URLs.

    SRY for the bad english

    Greetings

this was what i was looking for.

I cant block any URLs because i am behind a FritzBox router.

I am going to test it tonight.

    Thanks
    Tutorial for multiMAN: (All Versions)
    1. Start multiMAN (Dont need LV2 anymore)
    2. Choose your desired game on multiMAN.
    3. Mount the game with a click on X.
    4. Say NO to a start without going to XMB.
    5. Now you are on XMB. Click the disk/game icon and have fun.
