    HI!

Just to ask if someone knows if there is any less risk in playing original games on a CFW?

Recently i installed the PSN enabler 4.31 on Kmeaw, and tryed to enter in my old PSN account, with sucess and no problems, i even purchased a car in GT5 online garage.

So my question is there are less risk to get a (console or PSN account) BAN playing in original, or it's pretty the same risk in playing a backup of the game?

I haven't sycronized my trophy list because i don't know if it's risky or not.

    So what are your opinion??

It's really hard to say. Only Sony know how risky it is going online with a CFW PS3 using an original disc or a back up. That said, I'm still not convinced they are banning anybody for anything ohter than cheating online. Despite their big warning a few weeks ago, I've not seen any reports from people that have been banned.

That's interesting. Was he playing online, or just connected to PSN.

But it was a console BAN or a PSN ban?

My idea it's to play a little bit online. The games i like i have original ones, even after i played a game i bought the game because the game deserves to be acquired, but most the games i have and play have no interest in playing online, but want to know how risky could be, because want to play mostly GT5.
Anyone know any report of ban in this game?

Another question, being online without being log in in PSN it's still risky for a ban? And being only on PSn without playing online also risky?

Maybe someone could create a topic that can group the ban know cases, in order to figure the reasons that could lead to a BAN (and what kind, console BAN or PSN account BAN)

I don't like cheats, and will never use for sure, so in my opinion i support a ban action to the people that cheats.

There have been countless topics created about bans and people trying to make a ban logs and trying to help people but the topic quickly gets derailed and off topic and it is mostly people preaching and moral debates. Me personally there is no less risk being online with a retail disk on CFW because you broken the terms of agreement by installing the CFW. Sony can easily see weather you are using CFW. It doesn't matter if you are using a retail game. But I think the risk is greater using a backup because of the backup manager. Of course if you are cheating or glitching well that pretty much sends the red flag. Ultimately everyone knows going online with a ps3 is risky even just having the Ethernet or wifi on is risky. But the choice is yours.

from what I know sony can monitor what you are doing when you go online for example what games you play,
if sony see's you using homebrew then you will be banned after a matter of time
so its the CFW and the homebrew that will get you banned not just playing backups
even if you play retail games online on a CFW ps3 you will be banned
