Backup Manager Help Please –
10-01-2010,12:33 PM
I need your help please. I just get my PS3 Break dongle v1.0 yesterday. I try to upgrade my PS3 Break dongle to burner file v1.1 by follow PS3Break.com guide but my computer unable to detect dongle device and I get the message said " window unable recognize generic device". Then I copy Backup Manager 2.pkg file into my Seagate Free Agent Go root. I take PS3 dongle device install with my PS3 Slim follow Jailbreak guide. Ok I finish install Backup Manager with my PS3 slim and backup original game with backup manager but the problem I was unable to play backup game file. When I click on the game to load, it boot and back to PS3 menu screen again then I scroll up to */app_home/ps3_game/ when I click on it and I get a message "an error occurred during the start operation (80028f14)" . I don't know what missing or I did wrong. In my Backup Manager menu, it show all backup game in there but every time I click */app_home/ps3_game/, I get error messag. I put about 10 game file into my external HDD in Gamez folder. One game I get message" no EBOOT" is Rachet & Clank Crack in Time when I click to load in my Backup Manager. Any body has any idea to fix this problem. For any help would thanks and appreciated.

It's supposed to boot you back to the PS3 menu. You then go to where your game disc is (if you have a disc inside) and it should replace your disc with the game you chose.
If you don't have a disc inside, go to app_game/PS3 (or whatever its called, above install package!)

What about when you click on your disc? Did you try that? Or does it show the disc in the drive and not the once you selected in backup manager?

Okay, I have fix the problem. I know what did wrong. My PS3Break is v1.0 is not compatible with Backup Manager 2pkg. so I delete Backup Manager 2pkg. and replace with original Backup Manager file onto my external HDD. I delete the file on PS3 console and re-install with original Backup Manager file. It works perfect. But I still having problem with try to update my PS3break device to v1.1a file, so I don't have to play backup game without insert original disc in blue-ray drive. I have two computer. One is laptop using window 7 and desktop using window XP professional. Both computer was unable to recognize PS3break device. If anyone know how to fix this problem, please show or link me how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance

The ps3break team are meant to be solving the problem with ver 1.0 long version not upgrading. I can't upgrade it either, we are going to have to wait if they fix it or not.
