So I bought a fat backward compatibility ps3 from a friend it had the YLOD so I fixed it turned on and it gave me a blinking red light. I took it apart again and looked at it to see whats wrong. I found nothing wrong. The power was running fine.I thought it was the motherboard so I my other friend if I could use his old ps3 and that one had the YLOD to. I re flowed it and replaced the compound I checked it and turned it without everything together it turned on fine. I put everything together and it did not even have a red light when the power switch was on. Thats to ps3s like that. Power runs fine though both of them. What I am I doing wrong?Whats wrong?

so what your saying is it worked b4 you put it back together if so check all the cables first just to make sure you have plugged everything back in correctly if you have then maybe try swapping the power switch eject switch board just incase you have over tightend the screws abit if still the same try putting it back to how you had it working if it works again just put back together piece by piece checking each time then you will see where the fault lies maybe

Most likely your cable for the ON/OFF switch is partially stripped (Gold contacts). If so, try to straighten them gently and connect the cable again gently.
