After all PS3 supports MKV!! (mkv videos @ TDU2)

When i was transfering my TDU2 backup to my external HDD i found three videos in mkv format in this dir:
BLUS30527 > PS3_GAME > USDIR > Euro > Bnk >
The following videos are present:
Bumper_ATARI.mkv
Bumper_EDEN_TDU.mkv
Teaser_TDU2.mkv

For each of this videos here is the Media info:

SO AFTER THIS FINDINGS.... PS3 SUPPORTS MKV AND IT IS PROVEN IN THIS GAME!!!!

Have you never heard of mkv2vob? MKV is just a container, it's how the video/audio is stored inside that makes it compatible or not.

i now it is a container... if you open mkv with winrar you should be able to see it...
Anyway what i'm asking is this:
The console does the conversion or reads the mkv videos right away in game?

Compare what you found in those video files to some .mkv you've downloaded off the net. My guess is that either the audio or video is using a different codec that the ps3 can't understand.

All my movies are in mkv format
These videos of TDU2 are in a format that windows understands with klite codec pack
I'll upload the info of some to compare in 2 min!

All the mkv videos have is a way differente to codec them, so they can be played in the PS3!
I'll try to find a tool to convert the videos to AVC with H264

The PS3 natively supports AVCHD, hence why MultiMan supports it.

I know but i wanna see if the PS3 really supports mkv format in that way! I mean coding the videos that way!
