8002f147 error after 6% upgrade

Hey,

I just bought a cheap ps3 off eBay. It has fw 2.6. I could return it I guess. Under paypal warranty. I bought it for $170.

Ps3 40gb
Fat

When I try and upgrade the firmware to 3.41 it gives this error after 6% 8002f147. I have read the other threads they have sort of the same problem but this is different because it stops at 6%

Also there is no bootloop I have full access to the main ps3 menu and I can still play games after a restart from the error.

Update: it's happening at 4% that's a more accurate amount.

Or should I wait till they release a jailbreak for 3.41 and lower?
