Updating.... just some stuff for the Vita... not much for a full version.
The obvious question to me is whether Kak's 3.73 exploit will work on 4.0 as well. I bet it does.
Can anyone that update copy their PS1 games to a PSP? I think I lost that option.
So they did a full version update, which is usually a MILESTONE for any other company, and all they add is Vita support and a few PSPlus tweaks?
I'm totally downgrading to 3.55 with the EA flasher come Christmas. -.- Sony sucks at the whole "business" thing.
Adding Vita support is kinda a big thing in my opinion.
But does it really matter if it is called firmware 3.8 or firmware 4.0? It does exactly the same things no matter what it is called. It is like Firefox, they suddently went from Firefox 5 to Firefox 8 in just some months. It is not like the changes between FF5 and FF8 are HUGE, especially not noticeable by the end user.
I REALLY dislike that I have to REDOWNLOAD what I want to transfer to the PSP. That's such a god damned hassel when the exact damned games are ALREADY ON MY PS3.
I hate the fact that ist a REQUIRED update. Im pretty sure im never going to own a Vita. I understand if your going to get a vita you will need this, but I think they shouldnt have made it a required update. I havent baught a hand held system since gameboy pocket came out. Since it was required this makes me think they added something else other than vita that we cant see. Also since its a full version update they should have at least changed the boot music LOL.
pretty much a update to prepare some features for the vita they may be hidden if not showing i myself have not updated
