3.55 Slim Downgrade

so i was just curious if anyone has a list of what firmwares came with what systems, i got my slim about a year ago its a 2001b i believe...pretty sure it had 3.15 but not completely sure...bought it on Christmas at a game stop if that helps

I doubt a PS3 SLIM Came on a 3.15

I'm pretty sure the first slim came with 2.76 or something. If you bought in 2009, you will be able to downgrade it successfully.

my slim came with 2.xx got it in 2009. slims had 3.15 but no otheros.

Well i have a FAT 40G (500GB) from 2008 would be i able to downgrade.. sure or? i'm on 3.55??

Yes, all phat's can downgrade, you'll just lose your blu-ray playback if you're on a CECHG or lower model number. It can easily be restored though now. Play the latest blu-ray you can find (Inception or newer) and then install blackb0x FTP server and backup your dev_flash3 folder on your PS3. Downgrade, then restore dev_flash3.

when i bought my ps3 slim 120 gb it was on the 3.15, so old revisions of slims is on 3.15 for sure

my 320gb slim came with fw 3.41 from factory, will the downgrade work?

Yes, you'll just have to downgrade to 3.41 OFW and then upgrade to 3.41r2 OFW
