2 ps3's need to remarry the dvd drives

hi all, i have been given 2 ps3's, one had ylod which i have sorted but the dvd drive needs remarrying and the other just needs the dvd drive remarrying, they are both chechc03 and one is on fw 4. 11 and the other is on fw 3. 72. so as i understand it i need to downgrade the firmware to 3. 55 or lower to be able to get into factory service mode and remarry the drives? if so can you please tell me if the e3 flasher limited is what i need, i don't want to be doing any soldering as i need to do 2 consoles plus more in the future, i am new to this but think i can do it and want to learn, now do i also need a dongle to get it into service mode after the downgrade? i have a t-flash card reader, would that work? or does it need to be an e3 card reader? is there a solderless progskeet available? maybe you could link me to what i need, cheers for any help
