im using a 1.5TB ext formatted to Fat32 works fine. Its only slow when Multiman's indexing all the games on yr ext hdd assuming 1.5TB full of games. If yr concerned about loading, not much diff at all.

i dont think fat ever was designed with terabyte space in mind. ethically i propose it unhealthy. go with 50% fat 32, 50 % NTFS.

Using a FAT32 on 1 terabyte disc does not slow it down in any way or form. And yes, it works just fine with PS3 and MultiMan.

But using FAT32 on such a large disc wastes several hundreds of megabytes due to format overhead and it is a poor choice for such a large disc. Unfortunately if you plan to play your backups from the external drive that is also your only choice. If you however always copy your backups from external to internal before playing and won't be playing directly from USB then NTFS would be the best choice.
Playstation 3, Waninkoko V2, 1 terabyte internal HDD.

It's because you used a tool that doesn't support full disk filesystems as FAT32. Google fat32format and reformat that drive.
