MY PS3 is CONNECTED to a Computer screen, via HDMI and this PC screen does not have AUDIO!

    I am running: 3.55 Kmeaw

As my thread title says, is there anyway to edit / hack / add registry or something, so that I can use my Headphones to hear all the Audio on my PS3.

I have got a USB Sound Controller connected to my PS3 and it works well, but it can only be used to hear chat audio, no in-game audio on the headphones.
Here are some images to make your understanding easier:

So it works perfectly with my Skullcandy headphones, and I mic connected, (even works when I have my headphones connected and I use my PS3 Camera as a Mic), just that I can only hear the chat audio, no in-game / gameplay audio.

    ALSO:
For those wondering, the USB AUDIO Controller, comes up in the accessories tab as:
    USB AUDIO
I have it for both input and output. (It's got a headphone and mic jack if you looked at the images above)

So if anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you PSX-SCENE members.

To my knowledge there is currently no way of doing this with your USB dongle.

However, what you could do is route the audio output from the PS3 to an inexpensive headphone amp like a cMoy which is how I have things set up for all my consoles.

I use the standard issue cable (that also works in PS2) to run the audio into RCA or phono plugs, then into my wireless headphones. I then have my HDMI converted to DVI and plugged into my monitor..

Pretty happy with how it works, but I tried my Bose setup, that connects using USB and nothing. Didn't work at all, and it's a proper set up, not one of those cheapo dongles!

Oh yeh, I remember reading that the voice chat and gameplay sound are seperate altogether. I tried getting my bluetooth stereo earphones working, but they only output in-game chat.

No. You won't get games sound from the USB. It's only for chat.

You can get some headphones that utilises the optical digital cable, or use the composite cables into a surround system ect..

Loads of different ways, but not through USB.

    I have a similar setup.

I use an HDMI => DVI cable to connect to a Dell monitor (when my wife is hogging the TV that is).

I use the RCA cables that came with the PS3 to route the audio into my stereo receiver.

Then I just plug my headphones into my receiver when I want to use them, and I hear everything.

PS: Make sure you enable multi-audio-out in your settings.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I have a similar question...

I have a set of Logitech Bluetooth 'wraparound' earphones that I use for in game chat.

I use my TV to play and have the sound running through a digital-out and into my amp for surround sound.

Is it possible for me to enable the headset to recieve the game volume or not?

    Thanks

I don't believe you can do that via Bluetooth. You could probably get some cheap FM-wireless headphones and attach them to your amp though.

Yeah but sadly I would lose the game chat in the process. Good thought though!

I was recomended a set of turtle beach headphones by a friend which accommodates both in game volume and game chat so I think I will pick up a pair of those.

    Thanks
