Snes9x for ps2

Sounds like amazing, can't wait to try out NES games with smooth graphics in your next release.

I know it's way too early to ask for something like this, but please consider doing a GBA emulator in the far future too. It would be neat to play games like Golden Sun and Advanced War upscaled to SD/HD with a controller.

Those are great news indeed! I'm getting impatient to try your latest FCEUltra. Did you join sources with fceumm++? Does it remember the last used dir for loading roms off HDD?

i tried the snesx9 on my ps2 v7 pal, but it freezes when i want to start a rom file (.smc)

there are snes roms i have on my hdd, this is a snes emulator, right?

also, snesx9 does not boot if i boot it from my memory card.

and snes station had this bug, that the scroll bar in the games directory would move down on its own, without me pressing the down button.

snes stationhdd2 (as its called on sks apps) has the same bug.

and today the save function of snes station crapped out on me

it saved a black, flickering screen

now i have to do mario 3 all over.

The Snes9x is still pre Alpha and not meant to be used for playing games just yet, plus the released versions are quite old.

And SNEStation is abandoned, I don't even think anyone here has contact to the person behind it.
BTW, only use SNESstation for short games, its save system has bugs.

snes station is indeed abandoned. havent been any updates since 2002 i believe.

it works quite good though. (sound and speed hickups and save problems)

but i will wait for snes9x then

I've finished many games with SNES-Station. Super Metroid, Zelda etc. It may be quite old, but still good. Though I'm eagerly waiting for SNES9x

I wrote this because I wanted to say that the save function worked properly for me. Had no problems with it.

yes i believe u, i just had bad luck, the save function worked 99 out of 100 times for me too.

just bad luck lol.

It's good if it's only on my PS2

Are you using the USB version too? The first save works fine but the second time the game usually freeze up on me shortly after loading(it's been so I'll try to duplicate the scenario when I get time).

But other than that and frame-rate plus a few minor issues with sound it's a great emulator, especially for the less demanding games.

I only used the cd version.

but i was playing with the hdd and usb version so it might be that it was the hdd or usb version after all...
