500 INSTALLS DONEthe freestyle dash definitely came through with the fan speed control but especially being able to control the fan speed with the stroke of a thumb is so swell![]()
i just mounted an Antec tri-cool blue LED 120mm fan (with 3 fan speed switch) to my custom lian-li 360 case running on a 12v mod. wish that my 360 was on the 7971 dash & kernel so that this mod would be more efficient with the freestyle dash.
here is my modded 360 (took these pics with my iPhone but it was all that i had)

those are some sweet mods really love the pc case though ^_^
I wished Lian-li made a PlayStation 3 case. *drool*
thanks man. the mobo definitely gets more room to breathe and 120mm really pulls out a lot of hot air (on 12v setting = 2,000 rpm, 79 cfm, 30 dBA).
the case is already designed to accommodate water cooling and i have been considering doing it but the price tag is way bigger than my pockets. i'll just be content by adding one more fan.
i sure would like to see a PS3 mounted in a PC case too!
I think I might mail my 360 to Gary and ask him to quote me a price to have that done on mine..

500 INSTALLS DONEthe case that my 360 is sporting is the lian-li XB-01 case designed specifically to replace the original xbox 360 case. this custom case kit comes with everything that you need. the case retails $150 but i bought it used for a much lower price.
the most boring & hardest part of all was pulling out the mobo from the original chassis and adding a new coat of AS5 thermal paste (mine hasn't red ringed yet but the stock coat was burned out already. you might wanna put on a new coat if your 360 starts lagging a bit during gameplay with more intense graphics games). the Xecuter case tool makes the task much easier and time saving.
here's a more in depth look at the case,
