First off, I moved this topic to our new section for "xbox" stuff.
Second, hopefully the key you dumped is valid, as once the drive is erased you can't dump it again, and if the key is wrong all you will have is a fancy big white box looking dvd player. (unless your 360 does not have the summer'09 update or later on it!)
Third, if the key is valid, and jungleflasher is working, and you are using via (best to use via, but use normal M$ drivers for it, not the via ones), then click on erase, and after the drive has finished erasing, and the line of dots start appearing, quickly unplug the power and plug it back it, and then it should appear with the right intro and flash type, then just click on write.
If the drive has been fully erased, and still not appearing, click on intro, click on yes to resend, and as the dots are moving on the screen, quickly unplug the power and plug it back it, if helps if you have a power switch on your cable going to the dvd drive, to kill and enable the power fast and is safer to pulling the whole cable out and pushing it back in.
If flash still does not appear using the intro/resend/quick power trick, then you might have to the same in dos.
I find personally on my computer with via, windows xp, that an older version of jf 162 or lower works better on the intro/resend/quick power trick, then the later versions, just sit there displaying dots over and over again never giving me the flash.
I complained to the jf team regarding this bug which seems to be in the later versions for those with via, but all I got was a ban.

well the status says :Good .
and when i erased the key and since it says intro failed .the pc will freeze when i power on the drive eject botton doesnot work means its just like piece of shit .and since i cannot get to pc to do that again i use iprep on usb boot mode to write the key again and it says the drive has been flashed * Success* and power on the then power on the drive as well it wont freeze the pc again all things seems to be working ..
i think its 08.

when i use the iprep it always gives me invalid keys .but not with jungleflasher
well i have installed via raid sata tools and the bios its on Non raid

when i click the erase botton and click yes power of and on quickly it gives me most of time at 0xFF intro failed .( thats with via enabled )
if i disabled the via i can get to 0x72 but it will freeze and then it will freeze the whole pc and i need to use iprep again write they that i got it from Jungleflasher to get it read by pc .
i wont bother with lite-on anymore i even tried to replace with a working benq drive but it didn't worked i thought its gunna work or it may work doesnot matter any dvd drive is am i right ?

i have found my problem here exactly :
PC freezing issue:
If you were in windows and using Jungle Flasher and you have successfully got your key and created your firmware from your dummy.bin or even have got as far as getting your key, inquiry, and identify.bin files, then you should be ok, just make a dummy.bin and then make your liteon firmware!
So your pc froze? You were erasing your liteon and then when you did the power cycle, your PC froze? Well you are in luck. As long as your key, inquiry, and identify.bin files were correct, then you can save your drive. What will happen at this point is your drive will no longer eject, so you think oh no bricked drive. This can be fixed. Make sure you can boot to DOS by floppy or USB drive and have the proper files on it.
so in this case what i do need to erase and write the hacked firmware i mean what is the easied one and how can i do that ?
iprep or DosFlasher ?

ok its done i flashed it successfully here is what i did :
i tried many times and dumped many keys all of them was invalid expect .so i tried all those invalid keys i didnot know they are invalid keys thats why it didnot worked out .well i used valid one and i didnot know they are valid keys .lol
i have used JF
open source firmware (dummy.bin)
open target firmware (1ix16-liteon)
and then Save to File Lite_CFW
and then i used Iprep to make a bootable USB Drive
and deleted the L74CFW in CFW folder created by iprep and put the Lite_CFW and renamed i to L74CFW
and also created a folder inside BACKUPS name it 1234567 and a folder name it 12345 and put it the L74CFW inside 12345
BACKUPS >>1234567 >>12345
and then i used iprep 10.7 to write the flash .
and it flashed and done ..
thanks dude for your help .
so the problem were the invalid keys ..and i dont know why it dumped the invalid keys and save it (JF)

Invalid keys are a real pain. -- Good thing you had at least one valid one. -- Otherwise you would have ended up with a nice big fancy white dvd player.
I ran into problems with invalid keys, and found it was my sata cables themselves that was the problem, I threw them out, and bought a new one.
They wear out after a while, of unplug and inserting into many different drives, I guess the little wires inside just can't handle the stress overtime.

well it maybe my invalid keys were due to COM Port as a usb device .that comes with 360 xtractor pro .

ok back with another probelm again .
i thought the new ix1.61 suppose to work with games like MW2 and Tekken6 without needing to use Activate.iso disk if yes then why mine doesot work ? is that mean i had a bad flash or what ? or there is something i missing ?
edited : my bad for Lite-On there is no release yet ix1.61 its only 1.x6
so in order to play Wave 3 or 4 games i have to use Activate disk

not sure about tekken 6, but I've heard that MW2 discs could be a wave 5.
