Most people by now, know that c4eva has finally released the LT+ firmware for all 360 Liteon owners so they can finally play the latest games that are using the new AP (Anti-Piracy) v2.5 system.

But sadly, once you have flashed the LT+ firmware into your drive, you can never for whatever reason be able to read back that much needed unique drive key, without opening your drive and going thru a whole lot of work in cutting traces, soldering wires, etc.

Well lucky for us, Maximus once again comes out with a simple patch to re-enable the UART key reading, so you will always be able to get your drive key back after flashing, without any messy cutting and repairing traces!

LT+ UART ENABLE PATCH by Maximus

    WHAT IT IS:
Silly patch to re-enable the READ KEYS OVER SERIAL On LT+

This will save you from having to do (or re-do) the cuts on the drives or also will save you of being FORCED to install board clips of any kind on your drive to do later reads. (ofcourse if its a 83V2 or 93 stock drive you still need do cuts the first time)

Since the releases are based on the 93450 its possible with a really quick patch re-enable that functionality. It should work for all LT+ releases of liteon as all are based on the 93450 fw.

Please note will not work on non-93450 based firmwares.

    HOW TO APPLY

    a) Prepare your LT+ file (with the spoof, keys, etc) but dont flash it just yet.
    b) Open LT+ file with ppf-o-matic and apply the attached ppf file.
    c) After ppf applied just flash your drive and you will have later the option to read keys over the UART port
(just like old Liteon 74) using spear or Usbxtractor, whatever

Alternatively you can also patch the template files to avoid doing each time. If JF complains about opening the patched firmware just use an older (without restrictions) version or better use dosflash
The software is being distributed with an "I dont care" license so use at your own risk.

Thanks to geremia for the firmware descrambler, without his work, this program would NOT be possible.

    lol...

I JUST finished flashing a Lite-On with LT+ less than 5 minutes ago...

Who would have thought that I would have got this info from PSX-Scene FIRST instead of Xbox-Scene?

lol... these things always happen to me

    Thanks for the info anyway!

Yeah so he could allow Team-X to sell more rebuild and LT switch boards that do the MRA hack for them, since he in partnership with them.

But that is just my own personal opinion on the subject.

As for the technical reason, c4eva built all the LT firmwares using the latest 94 firmware that had this feature turn off in the first place, but really it was only turned off by M$ to stop the easy hacking of the drive, by dumping the key via the serial port which is only enabled by jumping the r707 port and you still need external hardware connected by probe or via the power port, which the 360 has of course nothing like that inside, so bullshit theorys that M$ going to ban you because of this is really blow out of the water.

I wonder if you could flash a drive with dummy keys cause my flash drive with my key original keys craped out on me and use the probe to get you original key back I doubt it but it was a thought or should I just get a switch and do it that way
