Just traded up for a slim and about to order a 320gb blue, should I get one of those $10 caddies from ebay? Last time I bought one was for my laptop and the faceplate barely stays on. Good investment or should I just leave the HDD unsecured?

Buy yourself a real hardrive case for xbox slim however you will need a hdd.bin file for a 320GB hardrive to get it accepted by your system. Not sure there are any out there yet only I could find was for the 250GB, I know the Star wars edition will have a 320 GB hardrive but it's still some time to wait for it.
Incase I am wrong please correct me because I have been looking for a hdd.bin that's for 320GB hardrives like a maniak without any results. Think we all have to wait some more...
I think 320's are fine now since the Gears bundle is out... There's a bin file here How to hack a 250gb or 320gb sata drive to work in the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim
i tried it for a while without the hdd case and it feels pretty secure. i ended up getting a cheap knockoff from ebay since i felt that it would do the job and i would rather not have hdd damage from wobble or my 2yo son moving the console.
Thanks for all the input, I caved and bought the caddy.. I figure if anything it'll let me sell the 4gb as a 250gb without problems
