Gary would be the man to say on this, but it depends on what board you have (and all must be an older dashboard than 8xxxx)
Xenon's use one JTAG diagram while falcons, opus', and jaspers use another. You need some specific diodes to do it as well and have some kynar wire on hand as well as a glue gun.
You will also need to fashion a connector so that you can read the NAND using the 7 wire hack for all NAND transfers via LTP or the USB adapter. Too much of a pain in the ass if it's a falcon. (I still cringe over dangwoot's xbox due to it's satanic nature.)
#1: You need either a windows xp computer with a old Printer port (25pin)
#2: Or you need to build yourself a USB SPI adapter
#3: You need if using a printer port, some 100ohm resistors
#4: Some thin small wires, like 30awg wire-wrap
#5: A good steady hand, to solder in the 7 wires from the SPI adapter or printer port
#6: A couple of 1N418 diodes to complete the JTAG hack, once you get the above working!
#7: A copy of the latest program Nandpro to do the read/write of your NAND
#8: Matching version of the XBR ready-made image for your motherboard.
#9: Various other programs, like 360flashtool, nandcompare, to check your work
#10: A lot of free time with no stress around to cause you problems.
#11: Some good advice from others that have been successful with this.
#12: Some good advice from other that have failed in doing this.
That's should be it, I will update you with more info later, with pictures and tutorials, but closing time here so got to close up and hurry home for supper!
I have all of that sept the diodes, a stress free life, and the software.
Also I am not currentley sure what to do with any of them, have a nice dinner.
btw: can I get the diodes at radio shack?
Have you forgottent about meeee? I'm sooo alone:(
Yep, totally forgot! -- And long day for me also, so I hitting the sack early. -- Will try to give you some more info tomorrow! -- In the meantime, here is some useful pictures!

And find attached some useful reading info, with helpful steps, etc. -- That should keep you busy for the night, until I can help you out some more!
I've actualy been so busy I have not had a chance to review this stuff yet, thanks
OK, i'm haveing some difficulty tracking down these diodes, I looked on digikey, some outher online electrincs shops, amazon and ebay but I cannnot seem to find them. Would you mind helping me out.
Here is little know "secret". -- I was told to seal my lips on it, as it would make a re-market for old product. -- If you have any of those little v12 slim laser fix boards laying around, those have on them four of the same diodes. -- Digikey must have them. -- Even some of the "The Source" aka "Radio Shack" have them, opps forgot you US boys lost them, they are still running here in Canada!
