Felt a bit adventurous today as I was able to borrow a heat gun. So far the damage isn't bad as I need to only fix my 7 wire hack and replace 4 caps on the board. Statistically, not too bad. I can't finish up until I pick some thermal grease up though.

At least I have a junk 360 board that I can steal the needed caps from

Sorry, I forgot to report back in this thread. the system is trashed. got horribly impatient, and it's a distant memory.

I think we need to add a VB Spell-Checker plugin.

But I looked at that before, and alot of problems with those depending on the browser people are using.

I spend most of my sunday afternoon, with Xianaix Wiinew's working prefectly with IE8 with no errors.

    Ugh.

From my personal experience, E73=BROKEN EDRAM die

I'll have a falcon GPU with E73 error (and a missing bit of silicon on a edge of the EDRAM DIE) replaced professionally next week for testing.

Only doing that because it's an exploitable unit.

that one I had was exploitable. it was just hard to deal with getting bothered evey 5-10 minutes with some other B.S. task to do for someone else. I have a lot of patience on some things, when I'm working on something, I have almost none. Family trait though. But some of them make me look like a zen master.
