Is it possible to customize the Black Rhino?

Hello A few days with the help of user deba5 and Pio Masaki installed on my PS2 the Black Rhino. I found this very good distribution, but would like to install certain software packages further. Here are a few downloaded programs like Mozilla Firefox and Synaptic.

First I either install Synaptic and follow the following procedure:

Unzip the file that came with the extension. Tar.gz

tar-zxfv Synaptic.tar.gz

I went into the folder generated using the command "cd"

I typed ./configure to see if everything was done correctly

typed "su" to login as Super User

But when I typed make and make installl to compile for the program, I turned the console error messages saying this command does not exist.

After all, the Black Rhino is even customizable or it will be only avaliable in the future ?

Looks like the ./configure asked to compile dependency xmlto and that one needs getopt. I won't have time to work this compile with you, but if you are familiar with building from source, you might have a chance to get something to build for the PS2. I know for a fact that an older version of Firefox was modified/compiled - it is far too slow for my use though - http://playstation2-linux.com/projec...release_id=505
