    Sorry, wine is based on x86 hardware architecture (is being ported to ARM also), and does not work on MIPS architecture. Would be cool if it did :-)

    someone was able to run wine on powerpc architecture with qemu-i386, so it may be possible

    I have seen cygwin on settop box firmware before. they were running ecOS with it. I forget what part they was using it for but i did a hexdump of their firmware patch and it had that output.
