I was thinking about putting blackrhino on my PS2 but I already have HDLoader running on it. Can I run both or just one or the other? Would this require some kind of partitioning?
thanks in advance

I have Blackrhino and HDLoader partitions on the same disk. Using my installer, and making sure that you have enough free space in the first 137GB will allow a partition to be created and loaded with PS2-Linux alongside the game partitions. It makes use of the ps2fdisk command found on the original playstation linux site. Back up your game partitions first using something like winhiip.
So then would the first partition be for BRLinux and the second for HDLoader?
No, each game saved by hdloader has its own partition, in addition to the partitions setup by the original hdloader "formatting" (__boot, __common, and the like). You must have blank space in the first 137GB for the Linux swap and root partitions, my installer will automatically create. You can already have games and hdloader installed before installing PS2-Linux to the hdd.
