It is possible to install it on a fat PS2 or a slim PSTwo (v12/v13), but USB is unstable on a v14 or higher. Installation is not easy.

[lang=pt]o que acontece é o seguinte, eu coloquei os arquivos no pendrive de 4G, quando inicio o kernelloader que estou usando que é o 2.4. Carrega os modulos normalmente, mas para na mensagem mais ou menos assim: Load config from DVD. mas não posso usar o DVD por que meu Laser não funciona mais. meu ps2 é scph75001 v14.[/lang]
The tray need to be closed at startup. You should try it without a disc or with an audio CD inserted or with a disc turned on the wrong side.

USB is not stable on such a PSTwo. You should use samba, e.g.:

I didn't used samba. I don't have a config file. If the screen is black, I think you forgot to connect the network cable. You need to power on the network switch and your PC before turning on the PSTwo.

Depois eu vou continuar a tentar pelo smb, porque eu consegui fazer ele rodar pela usb depois de muito esforço. Mas não sai audio eu sei que isso é um problema mas você tem alguma ideia?

queria saber se tem como fazer alguma configuração no kernelloader para o audio funcionar ou se tem esses tais módulos do RTE para baixar em algum lugar?
The modules "libsd.irx" and "sdrdrv.irx" are responsible for sound and can be found on:
1. Disc 1 of Sony's Linux Toolkit.
2. Old game discs (maybe before 2002). Newer versions are not compatible.
3. In the ROM of an old PS2 (e.g. v7).
