Hello i'm struggeling with a problem,

I have got a version 10 ps2 (fat one) Fmcb modded.
Installed a 160 gyg hd and linux running from the usb installer (latest)(hd install)
I also can play youtube vids.

The problem is that i have no sound. I read several times on this forum that you can make sound to work when you have the rte. How does it work??

i copied the 2 .irx files to the mc 0/kloader directory but nothing have changed.

I m using the original RUN HD config.txt in the kloader.

    greetz from Holland.

You need to enable the 2 modules you copied over from the RTE in the kloader configuration menu.

If you scroll down through the list of modules in kloader you should see libsd and sdrdrv entries, enable them.

do i need to rename the files?

in the config file menu i enable the modules but he is not able to load the modules.
i 've copied the files direct from the rte disk, but it's in CAPITALS.IRX

do I need to rename the CAPITALS.IRX to capitals.irx.?

What i ment: Is kloader capital sensitive??

All PS2 device drivers are character case sensitive (as opposed to Windows drivers).
Which means all filenames must have exactly the same character case as the programs will use to access them.

So if kloader uses the name "capitals.irx" like that, in all lowercase, then that is what you must use in naming the file. (But I haven't really checked what kloader does use.)

    Best regards: dlanor
