It seems that you're using an outdated version of Kernelloader. Try to start it via a newer one from kernelloader.sourceforge.net
Hi,
These screens are only example. I've newest kernelloader 2.7.
I use newest file "Download PS Linux Live DVD v3 (1.1 GB)" from kernelloader, sourceforge, net.
I was problem with ps2linux_live_v3_pal_small_no_modchip,iso in OPL "(SMB) Network Game" mode, OPL didn't saw file so I changed in iso file "KLOADER,ELF" to something like "SCUS_973.29" but Kernelloader freeze in "Reseting IOP".
Then I unziped ps2linux_live_v3_pal_small_no_modchip,iso file to folder "linux"
and I used "OPL Apps Launching"![]()
and I'm stack here![]()
kernelloader accepts URLs, i.e. stuff beginning with http://, but DNS may not work because it requires TCP. So you may need to use ip addresses instead of server names.
The Live DVD was not designed to be started with OPL. You need to use one of the methods linked in the first post of this topic (In your case the last link, USB memory stick).
USB is too slow than DVD so I want to try![]()
So check out your pc's IP address and use it instead of domain names. Maybe it will work.
Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum and am from Brazil
I'm using Google translator, so sorry for my bad English.
I have the latest PS2 console, the SCH-9000X.
I know that USB support is unstable in this version. When I use Live DVD, I need to use a swap partition. Using an old Chinese MP4 Player, I activate the swap partition, but due to the unstable USB, Linux crashes when I open Firefox. Could use another device as swap partition, like network or memory card?
Thank very much for the answer!
Currently there are only two solutions for this:
1. Use Dillo Webbrowser
2. Use Netsurf Webbrowser, http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/open...ml#post1000994 (Open Source Cross Platform Web Browser for PS2 with HD support. Lets make our Dream come true Baby...)
OK, thanks for the reply, but there is no possibility of using another device as swap?
Other devices will be also instable for this purpose (memory card and network).
