Of course that as soon as I have the package I'll share!
I feel that I have a huge debt with the community. I'm seeking some cool stuff to share.
For now I'm just accessing my desktop PC with ssh and running gnome-session from there.
I need to find a way to make the sound work and play on the ps2.
I also noted it's kind of slow, maybe because there's no DMA for the network?
I read somewhere that the Sony's ps2 Linux used DMA, maybe it gets a little faster?
Gotta try it as soon as I have more spare time again!!

Hello.
I tried, but did not find a way to use the ps2 joystick as a mouse or enable the virtual keyboard.
I have tried to uncomment the joystick part of XGSConfig with no success...
Could someone explain me how to do this or point to somewhere I can find?

To use the joystick as mouse the follwoing is needed:
1. xserver-ps2gs_3.3.6-13_ee.deb
2. Load the joystick module
3. The correct configuration of the X-Server. I don't have the configuration here, but it is used by the Live DVD v2. So you can start the Live DVD and compare the configuration file. As far as I remember the configuration option was not called ps2pad but joystick. There is somewhere a file where ps2pad is commented out. This will not work.
EDIT: I don't remember if I used the joymouse tool, but there was some discussion about it: forums.ps2dev.org :: View topic - ps2 linux on usb memory
