The 64 bit FPU problem is fixed in the CVS. Depending on the ELF format, the different register style is selected.
I installed Fedora 12. When I try to login, it is directly terminated and I am back at the login prompt. The process receives a SIGPIPE. When the NetworkManager is started, it gets a SIGILL. There seems to be still an assembler instruction which is not emulated. This is difficult to debug, because of the login problem. Via chroot from o32 NetworkManager doesn't start at all. I need easier programs with the same problem to be able to debug it. For example troff can be started and receives directly a SIGFPU. This should be easier the debug, because the program is smaller. rpm is also not working, it has problems reading the package data base. On one side it prevents testing XFree, on the other side XFree is already to complex to start debugging with. I need information which programs are not working. Simple command line tools would be best when the error happens directly.
