Linux on Slim PS2? (modchip)

I have a modchip, and a slim PS2, is their anyway to hook up a hard drive to it to install Linux?

As long you have a V12 or V13 slim and either a HDConnect or HDCombo installed i don't see why not

I was installed PS2linux on my slim PS2 with HDCombo a long time ago.It worked perfect but cant make ethernet work.Cant find compatible driver.
