Linux From LaunchELF?

Is it possible to some how do this? Seems like a big question but more or less please just point out the steps i need to do so I learn how if its possible. I know people have done it through PS2Link and with the discs but there has to be some way to do it with ULE so that it could be made easy for everyone to try if they wanted to. With linux installed the limits with the PS2 are endless. Any who I am dying to try this out any help would be appreciated!!!

Well PS2 linux is a matter of booting a disc and having a file on mc0 so I would say yes, unless your talking about having linux and hdl partitions coexist on the same hd then it gets tricky but its possible.

No I want a whole Hard Drive for linux!!! I dont want this to be complicated there has to be some way to trigger whats on disc one from LaunchELF if an ELF was Created with those dam boot files on the disc. Also ive seen complicated ways using PS2Link to boot but I think you still need the disc. Well my disc is broke along with my DVD burner even if the burner wasn't broke im confused as to if it would work with cogswap. There is a huge DUMMY.DAT file in there can I shrink it like a normal game and burn to a CD? I am sick as a dog right now and need some thing to do please please confirm if this is possible? I think it is plausable but dont want to throw a ton of time learning every thing if not. I really want linux to better understand school books

Exploit but i have 2 official HDD's thus why I want to use ULE. Another thing like with Code Breaker you load that then you can loop right around back into ULE so there has to be some way to hide something within that memory if needed which will make it complicated but just a thought!!! Oh I have a DMS3 but not installed killed 3 PS2's over the damn thing but willing to have it installed if needed!!!

After hours of trial and ERROR SUCESS!!! I booted ULE with PS1 Exploit then loaded CogSwap put in a Blue Bottomed PS2 Disc, Used the disc found here http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51571 (Thanks BTW) burned with CDRWin at 1x and I AM IN!!! Dont know if any one else knows this but i Searched all over the NET and didnt find anything but that disc which was said to still need a modchip with ATAD Patching. Now I have the Official HDD so it may not work for all? Hope this helps OTHERS here as ive been taught so much from this kickass site.
