    The next most common cause would be that you used cheap discs. Use Verbatim DVD-R discs that were manufactured by Taiyo Yuden or Mitsubishi. Those made by CMC Magnetics are crap as well.

    The only way to tell the origins of the disc is to take one, insert it into your computer, launch IMGBurn and look at the manufacturer ID field in the information panel after selecting one of IMGBurn's modes.

    Manufacturer IDs beginning with the following represent the following manufacturers:
    1. MCC = Mitsubishi
    2. TYG = Taiyo Yuden
